Rescuers Save Puppy from Painful Mango Worm Infestation in Emotional Mission

A team of dog rescuers recently responded to an urgent call about a puppy in dire need of assistance. Upon arrival, they were met with a heart-wrenching sight.

The small puppy, looking helpless with sorrowful eyes, was suffering from a severe infestation of parasitic larvae.

These larvae, known as mango worms, are the offspring of the Cordylobia anthropophaga fly and had burrowed into the puppy’s delicate skin. This infestation caused significant physical pain and emotional distress for the little animal.
