When Edina spotted a distressed puppy struggling to move through the grass, she knew she had to intervene.

It was heartbreaking to witness her suffering, but Edina and her friends knew immediate action was necessary. They swiftly took Rossie to a veterinary clinic for urgent treatment.
At the clinic, Rossie’s fear persisted, and she attempted to hide from the staff. X-rays confirmed both her hind legs were broken, requiring surgical intervention to insert fixators. Despite her anxiety, the surgery took place the following day and was successful.
Rossie’s recovery was nothing short of extraordinary. Just three days post-surgery, she began walking again, albeit cautiously. Despite her lingering wariness of people, her daily progress was uplifting. Her courage and determination touched everyone involved in her care.
Edina remarked, “It’s amazing what these little souls can endure. She needs lots of love, and I’m sure she has plenty to give in return.”
Gradually, Rossie learned to trust again as she experienced the kindness of those around her. Though still a bit shy, she slowly warmed to the affection she received.
After 38 days, Rossie made a full recovery, walking effortlessly on all four paws. The vet provided her with vaccinations and a clean bill of health.
Rossie’s transformation from a frightened, injured puppy to a joyful, playful dog was astonishing. She overcame her fear of people, eventually reveling in the cuddles and affection offered to her.
Ultimately, Rossie was adopted by a loving family from England, granting her the forever home she deserved.
