In the following days, Shugy adjusted to her new environment, enjoying the safety and warmth of the Smith family’s home. A week after being rescued, Shugy went into labor. Mary watched joyfully via FaceTime as Shugy delivered seven adorable puppies. It was a momentous occasion for Mary, who soon visited her parents to meet Shugy’s delightful new litter.
